2 Questions about Assassinate

1. How does Assassinate work? I've been trying to figure out how Assassinate works but to no success. I thought that by each second you waited in DS, your damage % would up by the %damage listed on the current Assassinate skill level. Eg: My assassinate is curently level 12 so it says "Attack 76%" so I thought if I charged it up for 9 seconds, it'd be 684% per strike and with my range of 2xxx - 40xx, the most I thought I could hit per strike was 24k. Turns out I hit 30k-60k per strike which makes no sense at all by my theory seeing as 60k is about 1500% of my damage range. Someone care to explain? 2. If the charge time for maxed Assassinate is being changed to 8 seconds, what will the charge time be for Lvl 11-20 and will the total charge damage still be the same as it is now?

From the skill % listed, you have to multiply by 5. A 76% skill attack, is actually 380% when assassinate is used uncharged. As for how it is affected by charge time... well that is more complex and there is a special formula for it (I honestly cannot tell you off the top of my head); the general rule is that 3 seconds adds an extra 600% (when assassinate is maxed). At max charge time with maxed assassinate, the multiplier is 5 (i.e. 3000% damage per hit, minus the critical). I cannot answer your second question though. I doubt anyone really knows the charge formula for the lower levels (let's be honest, most of us don't care about what happens at level 10, but rather maxed at 30). As for the damage, I had heard months ago that it was either nerfed (x3 multiplier) or remained the same, but I cannot tell you which made it through in KMS (haven't followed the updates). Hopefully someone else knows this answer.
