I'm Muslim and today I found out mcdonalds, pizza hut, and kfc are halal. Wikipedia says that an Islamic group verified these restaurants as halal. The only problem might be contamination from the bacon and the other things they serve. I also found out that muslim people can eat the food that was slaughtered by Jesus's name and Abraham's name. Are you going to start eating at these places now? If you're not muslim are you happy that muslim people can eat at these places now? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halal

MY teacher told me never to use Wikipedia for research since it's mostly lies, but now I'm using it for religious advice? Hell no! I'm still never eating at those places... except for when I'm in Saudi Arabia. =p

Also that everything on Wikipedia is cited, unless otherwise stating "Citation needed". If you want to use Wikipedia as your research engine, don't cite wikipedia, just cite the cites.

I use wikipedia for most of my research though and I get good grades, I don't think anyone would lie on a topic like that. It's true a lot of muslim people are at the U.S so i think it's true. In detroit most Mcdonalds are halal

Actually, i think that it is a lot of people who want to write such things on Wikipedia. Because of the racism, some people would love to see a muslim eating pig meat.
