Enrage skill quest: does it seem glitched to anyone else?

| I'm on the portion of the enrage skill quest where you have to obtain the shield by whacking those stone statues in the secret vault. I can't tell you haw many times I've done it, making sure that I've checked every statue, but every time it just sends me back to the entrance. Is this just my bad luck? Am I doing something wrong? I must have tried at least 30 times. EDIT: Wouldn't you know it, as soon as I post this thread, the shield drops for me. Mods, delete if you would be so kind. |
