For those who missed out on the event because you thought there was another week, I would suggest that you log a ticket so that they are made aware that many were affected by this lapse in timing. Now, I know many of you will argue that the MA NPC said the event will end June 9th or that it was a matter of missing the timing for the given event window, but the fact is that the website stated that the event would end June 16th. Now, many of us did not have time to start the event earlier and therefore the extra week makes all the difference for those who just resumed the game. Here was my ticket and the response by GM Talia; Game Selection: MapleStory Category: Game Related Sub-Category: Bug/Glitch Bug/Glitch Details: Quest Issue Summary: Lilin's Ring Quest Event Dear Nexon Support Staff, It seems that even though the website claimed that the Lilin's Ring Event was to end on 6/15/10, in-game the event has already ended, with the Maple Administrator saying it was to end on 6/9/10. Now, I don't know if this was done on purpose or not, but for those like me who just came back to the game recently and believed to have another week to finish the event, this seems a bit unfair for those who started late. I know the ring was a time sensitive event but I think it would've been better to give us the real end date of the event on the website instead. I am just a bit frustrated right now that I cannot achieve the last ring anymore and I hope you understand. Thank you for your time. Response Thank you for reporting this issue. Some people here need to realize that this is an issue of False Advertisment, and it screwed over people that just came back to maple recently and those that had to budget their time. Please stop saying "you'll just delete your Aran, you dont deserve it" or "you had enough time, stop complaining" because if you got your Aran to 30/50/70 before the advertised time, then you do infact deserve it regardless of it you made your Aran purely for the ring or not. This isnt an issue of if you spent your time wisely or not; it's an issue of nexon basically lying to its customers.

[/quote] You must enjoy assuming the worst about people. I logged a ticket, but didn't demand anything but better editing of event endings in the future. The Adventurer Rings probably won't be SoK-able. So you're screwed on that count.

On June 9th I found out that the ring event was gonna end June 16th but after a few days I found out that the ring event ended on the day I found out. I was so mad.

Im fairly disappointed about it. I did 14 levels in as many days to get my dude to 70 and theres no lightbulb above my head so i did the job adv incase you need that to get it and still nothing. Then i looked here and i was even more disappointed. I think the false website info dude is right in what has become a silly arguement on here about having enough time to do it earlier and having a go at people for no real reason.

[/quote] Not every person was aware of the end date that was advertised ingame (which I had no idea about until I hit level 50 today) nor has been playing an aran for 6 months (I only made my Aran recently -1 week ago- and I intend it to be my main but am disappointed that I was unable to receive the ring)

If you have ever played any other MMORPG with a large community base, you should know that all of your responses are made by a computer and noone will ever look at them. It's sad but true, they just don't have enough time to read everything individually.

evan = 1 month to get glasses(lvl 80 for all the scrolls). aran = 6 months to get ring (lvl 70 to get best ring) how bout u stop waitin for the last minute and actually do the event when it comes out. stop procrastinating.

I almost got the same response...; Keep an eye on the website etc. Plus the fact that it doesn't matter how much time you get, you just need to be sure that it is at the promised time. Just a unreal example:" Nexon says that the Evan Event lasts 2 years to get the glasses and the scrolls, but in fact is stopping after just a few days." Would that be fair even though you put so much effort in it regardless of the time you got ? No, cause you have to plan those things out... So log a ticket :p
