Will system restore erase everything?

Erase EVERYTHING? virus included (I was stupid and got lilke 273461238794612378462347896 virustrojanseverything possible)

Yea I will.... It got so many bad things i cant even use my laptop anywhere. (Im on desktop)

It depends on which date you restore the system to. Reformatting your computer will delete everything though. Or at least everything that wasn't there when you first bought your computer. Or I think that's how it works anyway. I could be wrong.

Reformating removes them. System Restore does not. Viruses have gotten smart. You're better off downloading Malwarebytes or Combofix, or taking to a professional.

What's telling you that you have a lot of viruses anyways? It sounds like you got one of those rogues that say everything is infected and try to get you to buy their crap. If so, you could get rid of it by running a scan with Malwarebytes. And System Restore only monitors certain files on your HDD not your entire drive. So no, a SR will not remove viruses.

I agree...^^^^ Run Malwarebytes and see if it can fix it before you start thinking about wiping out your whole computer and starting over..!
