Seriously. Oh, slingers are easier to level? Cool. Paladins aren't weak? Finally. Blizzard and meteo even stronger? Ok, i'll take it. But wait. This is not nearly enough to compensate for what Nexon is doing. Arans level SO fast. Evans, too, especially once they get that earthquake move. They can even kill BF! Easily! Sure, neither can replace a bishop and his genesis or a DrK and his HB, but most people who have an adventurer as their main all think the same thing when they see this kind of thing: "Overpowered". Now, you can throw DPM charts at me, or say that damage isn't everything, or tell me that my skills are necessary so I can't be replaced. The truth is, damage does mean a lot. More damage = more wanted for bossing and all types of parties, really, which I find to be the most fun part of this game. DPM charts can show nice things with math and numbers, but I KNOW it is far easier to get an Aran to 120 than it is a NL. And when you level faster, the game is more fun. I only started to truly have fun with my chars in this game in late third job. But oh, what's that? I have HB so you'll need me forever? Sure, but you'll just call me an HB mule instead of a legitimate part of your bossing party. Now welcome DBs. Sorry sairs, your title for DPM king is being challenged. You too, NLs. Anego will be even more difficult to find. You may still be unique, but you will feel less important. You will feel like you are being replaced. Cmon, I mean, DBs even get flash jump! Who knows what the resistance classes will bring. I know that dark genesis scared some of you bishops until you found out it had cooldown time. And these aren't the only changes. For one, I've thought about the up and coming (though perhaps not that soon) % stat equips. HP +%? Well screw all the DrKs who HP washed to get to 30k hp; you could've just waited and got one of these equips and saved a lot of money! Who knows, though, maybe they'll increase the 30k cap. I'm just saying, my class has been hurt with all these new updates, and it seems as though it will continue to be hurt. And I know many other adventurers have and will be hurt too. Sure, I'm pumped for new updates to make the game more exciting, but it kills me that it's making my hard work of getting an adventurer to 4th job mean a whole lot less. And this "balance" patch is hardly balancing anything at all. It's fixing issues that should've been fixed AGES ago. Am I alone on this? Edit: Please do not group my opinion into that of every other class-comparing whiner. I am not a damage hungry other-class-hating fear-of-change idiot. See bolded above.

Haha, i've been playing on and off since he beginning, and honestly, I don't think new classes ruin the game. I mean its all about how you choose to perceive it. Like many others have said, Maplestory is a game for your entertainment. If you aren't entertained then don't play it. There are other games out there for you. So what if you lvl slow? Fangblade lvled to 200 without having he best equips or what not. I'm only lvl 65 but I've been playing for like five years. I still have fun. Sometimes you have to just look back and appreciate what you have. It's easy to get caught up in the damage game. I even catch myself wishing my assassin did more damage, so it could level quicker. But what I've come to find is that if I get too caught up in damage and in leveling, I lose the fun of the game. In my opinion, the fun comes also in the social aspects, completing quests, joining in on events and party quests, guilds, family, etc. I've seen many people come and go, and I've played many a years. The things I remember aren't how much damage I did back when, or how fast I leveled back when, or what it felt like when I reached level 50 or what not, rather they were the friends I had made and played with. So what if Evans and Arans level faster?

I'm a dexless Aran out damaging most warrior classes my level, but I prefer their damage because it's more stable. You guys can BF. I can't BF without HP washing or HB, and it's a bit more difficult to BF on an aran than a normal warrior class. You guys can also CWKPQ which makes me envious. You don't see me making threads to complain about this though. Why do you?

Quit your crapping, new jobs will always be considered weak or overpowered. And you guys won't even fund your adventurers properly but do when new jobs come out (notice the "Spending 10bil on new job equipment" Threads), it's obvious that the new jobs would be overpowered.
