Acne - do not pop

I'm sure all of you have heard of that.. don't pop your pimples.. For some reason though, if I get one and I just leave it there, it just gets bigger and bigger and bigger and lasts for like a week. I thankfully rarely get them, but when I do, I find that squeezing it and getting rid of it when it's still small causes it to disappear overnight. Am I the only one?

They say that you can pop 'em once they're "ready to be popped". If blood comes out you made a premature detonation, exposing the skin more to infection.

If you pop it right, you should be fine. Put two piece of clean tissue piece of paper on both your index fingers. stretch the pimple flat a little and squeeze by pushing in your index fingers at 45 degrees so the white crap comes out like a fountain.

You should wash your hand and face before you pop white heads. Then squeeze them gently until the puss comes out and then wash your hands and face again afterwards. I always pop my spots this way and my face is usually clear.

yea pop it when its the white head is shown. like whne its like..discustinlgy white, not just faintly white. you will hear the pleasure of grraoakk.. something of that. idk but its cool. idk bout you but white head poping is kinda satifiying LOL

It's best to use a sterilized needle to lance the tip of the pimple, that way you can better control how the stuff comes out. If you just used your fingers it's like a mini explosion on your skin, tearing it open and getting bacteria everywhere.

Thankfully I don't get acne on my face, but some on my back (they go away by themselves), and way too much on my arms/legs/chest. I pop the ones on my arms and chest to no end. I've got scars running up and down both arms. I still do it anyways. I just have this feeling to pop them if I see them, even if there is little to no white head.
