The most respected job classes

Actually I believe the title should be the most under respected job classes. Personally I believe the Adventurers are most respected but among them, it would have to be Dark Knights and Corsairs. Marksmen and Bowmasters would also come close. What do you guys think? Reasons: 1. Dark Knights were replaced by Arans. This may be opinion, but really, when Arans came out, Dark Knights and their predecessors (Spearmen, Dragon Knights) were cast out and people only wanted them as Hyper Body mules. And then of course, when people realised that the lack of Hyper Body wasn't good, they started looking for them everywhere. 2. The Gunslinger path have long been thought of as a weak class but when they reach Corsairs, people actually start respecting them like their so pro. Kind of ironic, wouldn't you think? Also, earlier on (perhaps last year) I would have said Paladins are well respected, but the fact that so many people have made them, the respect isn't as high as it used to be. EDIT: Also F/P mages suffered the same thing as Dark Knights, and the fact that they were uncommon from the start has given me a high regard of respect for them. Finally Shadowers have always been uncommon, and you see a lot more Chief Bandits than Shadowers, so I respect them a lot too.

I use to think it was Paladins but then more people started to make them and I actually met one that wasn't nice. It nearly broke my heart because I always had the highest respect for Paladins. Then there are BowMasters, but they also got a large crowd about a year ago so just about all of them have hit BM by now and severely diluted the class. Let's face it, Dark Knights always have been and always will be just for Hyper Body. It's a sad fact of life. That's why I'd say that the class I respect most now are female DKs as they're so rare and under appreciated.

As above. Corsairs? No way. DKs had their time, and arent exactly respected either. Its not around as much nowadays but back then, DK equates to a hacker. Stereotypes are horrible arent they. BW Paladins, now theres respect. Maybe marksmen also, havent seen much of them around. Sairs? NLs? Arans?. Hardly. EDIT: @above wtf. mages and NLs? Oh, and this reminded me. Reg Dex Sins. Most sins tend to end up converting or restarting. Before anyone comments though, STR mages, beginners etc are not respected. Its more or less a way for them to show off or attempt to gain respect, thus i dont. Find me someone who will stick it out to the end, get to at least 4th job without leeching/hacking. Now theres respect.

Paladins are scarce, just because you might have seen 200 in a week, (I don't think I've seen 200 in years of off and on MapleStory) doesn't mean they are by any means popular. Remember, thousands and thousands of people play maplestory. And one bad egg out of the bunch doesn't make the other 11 bad. Paladins are weak, slow and overlooked by many. The few that can stick to their character and get over 130 is mighty impressive. Which also deserves respect. @Above; 14x Paladin=respected.

It's just that I take offense easily. Because of that one person ruining my perfect image of Paladins the whole class is dead to me. Yes, it make absolutely no sense. I'm ok with that though. Also, we have to consider how each person thinks of respect. To me the class doesn't have to be weak or rare in order to be respected. That's one of the reasons I'm making a regular DEX sin.

Well as for female players, I have equal respect for them and their male counterparts. Being a different gender character doesn't mean you should deserve more or less respect than someone the same level as you.
