I was mainly gonna ask Warriors but I think this applies to all classes: is the significance and advantage of being statless REALLY that great? I mean I was thinking about my Warrior, which is low Dex. I'm not sure anymore but isn't the point of Dex for Warriors to stabilize damage? I was looking at its damage range and it was 810-2446 or something close to that. With 60% Mastery, I don't think 810 is 60% of 2446. So, I just feel like sure my damage is higher range wise, but it's more unstable. So if I just go regular Dex, wouldn't it even out at some point anyway? Unless, I totally misunderstood the meaning of the Mastery percentage then please explain that to me.......cuz I always assumed the 60% is the minimum range for damage. And either way, for all classes, just how much damage can a statless, on average, deal more than a regular build player? Cuz, if it's not ever gonna go over 10k or even 4k, then I wouldn't really fret too much. Though I do understand 4k damage is already A LOT as an advantage. I'm just asking cuz the prices for Statless equips are really ridiculous, though understandable if it's really that significant. I mean, for a regular build I would think they would have an advantage on equips too since they can wear whatever they want, as in the higher level equips, that Statless can't and they can just scroll them with their main Attacking stat to catch up to the Statless. Less of a hassle of deciding and calculating SPECIFIC equips to wear this and that. Just seems easier. Is it really that much better? I wanna know.

Depends on which class you go statless >>NL's are okay high levels, but reg dex catches up kinda >>warriors are prolly the best statless even in high lvls as weapons don't need dex >>rest of classes pretty much even out in the high 4th job levels.

every 5 stats you put into your main stat, thats 1 watk. if your base dex for a warrior is 100, dexless would give you about 19 weapon attack. thats a LOT

I think being statless benefits mages the most.

its faster for most classes (AKA sins) warriors only need dex for the accuracy most of the time just depends on funds in the end i mean if a 25dex thief can buy enough dex gear to wear timeless stuff then a lot is possible :P

i say that sure with statless are lower lvls you are pretty strong, but once u get to lvl (lets say) 120 you are going to start to suck unless u are funded to hell, and in the end i with my reg build with the money i saved i will buy stat scrolls to make me stronger.

For mages and warriors, statless IS all that great. For sins and bowmen, it starts off really good, but gets worse and worse.

I think it only really makes a difference if you can make up for the difference between statless and regular classes in the higher levels. Only classes that really don't have to do that are mages as stated a couple posts above. I made this aran statless because I had equips to benefit my lack of dex, and I ended up having like 200+ acc at level 50 for an Aran. I would just say it depends to be honest. You can be decently funded dexless sin hitting like 3k's at 50, and then there can be a super funded reg dex sin hitting 4ks at 50. It just depends on your situation.

Well, warriors don't really need dex to wear anything, and dex is really a waste because it can be made up with cheap accuracy gear, and eventually when you have the funds, you can wear the same gear that normal/low dex users wear while maintaining a high accuracy. I'm dexless with 185+ accuracy with only dex gear where STR/ATT can't be put on, 200+ accuracy with a mask. It'll save the money for resets too, because eventually when you have more funds, you'll want to lower that dex ^__^. 31M will sound cheap for just 1 STR later on. Hell, I'm at the point where 2 str costs over 500M.
Resolved : I think being statless benefits mages the most.
being statless as a mage (aka lukless) is a complete waste of time, as the staffs and wands you have access to can more often than not overcome the int deficit compared to a lukless. i mena come on man, have you seen vandingos reverse staff? its a freakin 27/195 for crying out loud!

Dex adds stability, but you really dont need it. Youll be hitting high numbers and low numbers, the damage will be averaged out anwyays if you ask me, id tell you that. Mostly your 2nddary stat is just for equips. For str dits i dont get why STR isnt added more. htey wnat minimum str for khanjar, but Str actually adds to max damage and adds alot to min damage! W.e its how you wanna play the game and distrubute4 your crap.

For sins, it's just the most practical build until later 4th job (and converting to low-dex in later 3rd job isn't really that hard). It's a smart way to increase your damage for free, and contrary to popular belief, dexless is still the strongest build for sins regardless of funding.

I'm a warrior, and I'm dexless, my reason for this is mainly because Warriors do not need the dex for warrior equips (exception of swords, and taru spirit cape) and because I'm not the best person with money (blunt-weapon user) so I did this to be AT LEAST on par with the average "normal"-dex warrior.
