My life really sucks, I mean, I don't own any portable gaming devices or game consoles, if i ask to watch movies with friends they watch the trailer and read the storlyline before deciding whether to let me go, they think that watching 2 movies in 3 months is ALOT, and plus I can't listen to rock music because they think its Satanic and they're Christian. I basically have no social life outside of school and nothing to game on at home. My only portable device I own is my ipod touch, which I promised not to bring to school or church when I bought it. Now when I brought it to school today, my parents supposedly were at home checking to see if my ipod touch was home. They challenged me directly when I came home, and since I was so fed up I yelled at them and told them if I couldn't have any freedom with the touch, they could sell it and give me back MY money. They then said that since my money was money I had saved from previous birthdays, they were going to give the money BACK TO THE PEOPLE I RECEIEVED THE MONEY FROM. I�m now so mad and angry, probably I might not even be able to post this thread because who knows if they�ll take the internet connection away too.

Sit your parents down (be as adult as possible, NO YELLING). Tell them you truly believe you're old enough to handle a bit of the world, which includes musical freedom and the ability to watch movies, if you get scared that's your own fault. I guess you could consider getting a job as well, this way anything you buy they can't take away.

Compared to a teenage life in today's world: your life sucks Compared to a poor family in Africa: your life is amazing However, let's not compare you and the kids in Africa. Tell your parents that you find it unfair and they should loosen their leash on your collar for you. Tell them how you're lacking a social life with them behaving how they're behaving right now.
