Kerning Square: level limit?

If you are above level 50, you're not allowed to enter Kerning Square? I asked a friend and they said they can't enter there to help me with a quest. I need to know if they are just too lazy to help me -_- I know the quests are 35-50, but for there to be a level limit to enter in Kerning Square at level 50... I don't believe that.

Above 50, they kick you out of it. So no, he's not being lazy.

Yeah I went today to see if I could try gathering items because my cleric was just TOO slow, and it says something about a force from the ground not letting you go in or something.
