Weird MSG while in shop?

So Im in my shop and this person leaves a msg saying "they used me and my shop in a montage video on a site called puremmo.com in its media section without my permission and was wonderign if it was ok and some other stuff liek you probably dont care blahblahblah...." it seems like a typing style a normal person would type. wonderign if anyone else got this msg before? i searched puremmo.com in google and it doesnt give me anything except what seems to be a fishy maple site, when i click on the media section it takes me to this vid in metacafe, i was pretty sure by then it was a virus so i exited. just wanna make sure.. thanks

It's a scam. I saw this a few months ago as well. Just ignore them. And if you think about it, why the heck would they use a SHOP in a MONTAGE?

you are correct that it is a phish site. Do a scan of computer so nothing got downloaded/installed in your comp.

This happens all the time to anyone who sets a shop in fm. Basically, they tell you to visit a site that contains malware. When you visit the site, it may ask you to download some pluggins in order to view the supposed video. The pluggin is actually a keylogger.

Don't go there. most of them tell you that you're missing a plugin and downloading it actually downloads bad stuff onto your computer.

Usually it only takes a split second to load the virus / trojan onto your machine, just do a full Anti Virus scan and do some Spyware / Malware scans as well to avoid any and all possible infections.

If they asked you to go to a site when they could do it through Maple, then why would they ask you to go to the site?
