Why do girls wear their bra straps sticking out?

Why the heck do girls wear their bra straps sticking out in plain view? While on the bus, I saw a girl wearing a cute silver blouse that exposes her right shoulder. It looked very nice. However my admiration was completely shattered when I saw a pink bra strap sticking in plain view on her exposed shoulder, which abominably clashes with her cute blouse. Really girls, please do hide your awkward bra straps. It won't do your outfit justice. (That, or wear a strapless bra.)

What's the big deal.. my strapless bras are uncomfortable, and if I feel like wearing a tank-top then I'm not going to be uncomfortable just going to the store or w/e just to appeal to someone elses views.

First of all, I don't see the problem with wearing on with just a plain tank top or something. But with anything else, visible bra straps are just tacky and gross :< Please, buy a strapless bra, their not that bad.

With someone who has big breasts, I'm sure the bra will still tend to slide off your upper chest. See, the cup doesn't cover your whole breast (from what I see for most strapless bras anyways). It's covering only half of your breast (from nipple to underboob)... so ya it's pretty easy for your bra to slowly slide off your chest.

Strapless bras are uncomfortable. They have to be tighter than traditional bras because that's really what keeps them up and still provide support. And they push a girls breasts against her chest, not up. Invisible bra straps are annoying things made out of plastic that become super gross if you sweat at all. Besides, girls don't dress to please you.
