Well. Right now Im being d/c hacked for no reason. Im in FM just casually merchanting when I see @@@@ all over my screen. This has been on my screen for 20minutes now. Ive just been around basilmarket since i've got nothing to do. Why doesnt Nexon provide their own Packet Blocker? Sure if they do it would probabily cost money.

You can't do anything unless you want to hack Maple, by using your own packet blocker, it's against the ToS which kinda makes no sense since this d/c hacking problem has been here for a long while here now, and there's no solution yet

Its just the greedy fm merchants who want it all to themselves and think they can d/c hack you. It happens to me plenty as well. Just turn your whispers off. Thats what I did and I havent had a problem since. People say that turning em off makes it worse but I think thats crap cuz I havent been hit with any lag for a couple weeks now.

like I said. The lag for you is probably already terrible. You may want to log off for a while cuz the lag isnt gonna go away even if you relog. Give your internet a break. Then log back in and turn off your whispers before they have a chance to hit you with their bs. It worked for me.

[/quote] I am not educated on packets and everything but what people say is when you receive a whisper you receive a packet. But also when you turn your whispers off you not only receive the packet the person sends you in that whisper but you also send a packet back to them with the message telling them your whispers are off. Like I said I don't know if this is true or not cuz I dont have the background in this stuff, but I turned my whispers off and have not had a problem since. Now I will say that when they first hit me with the spam I had my whispers on. After a bit of lag I turned em off but the lag continued and I eventually d/ced. so I do not know if turning them off with the lag already being present is the problem or what. All I know is keeping whispers off all the time on my mule has given me no problems from then on.

Think about it this way: The packets are accumulated and stuffed into a super small room, until it explodes all of a sudden. (And you dc when it explodes.) Your computer cannot handle the amount of packets that go into the room because there's a limit. o.O Like with all things. Edit: Simple more clearer way would be.. You're receiving 2x the lag because you're being spammed while receiving the "___whisper's have been blocked" packet. Point is, don't disable your whispers unless you want to d/c faster. o_O

Ah I found my self a Packet blocker. I tested it on my self and it actually works. Thanks guys.
