So guys, does it really work? I'm debating on whether or not to buy it. I'm 14 years old, and I'm healthy and in great shape. I run for at least 30 minutes every day(I have been doing this for a year and a half), and I workout with dumb bells and I bench press and do the like. I have a four pack, and I'd say a little above average biceps, and I have some chest muscle going for me too. But, I'd like to increase my biceps, and get a well sculpted six-pack by the end of the summer. Or, in other words, I'd love to have that nice beach body that everyone just seems to adore these days. So, I wanted to know if I do a protein diet, take a daily supplement of creatine, and do P90X every day during the summer, do you think I'd be able to achieve my goal? If not, then how long would you think it would take? I'm prepared for any workout I'd have to do, so difficulty of the P90 program is not a problem. I'm also very committed to this. So, please, if you've used this product, give me some insight on whether or not I should buy it, and if the creatine/ protein diet sounds ok. Additional info: . 14 years of age . 122 Pounds . Height: Five foot nine (and a half) :P (And no, this isn't some sort of show off thread or something like that. I sincerely would like to know about the product. So... eh in other words, flame shield on...)

heinousMy teacher, who also serves as a professional trainer (like gyms and stuff) is super fit, and she felt a burn from P90X. I watched some of it, it's super intense. I can't say anything, but I heard it works.

Yes. It works. I did one of the Yoga things that my dad owns for fun. I regretted that decision - quickly. It works. Its mostly free weights/body weights. Just bring your A game. xD

You don't need creatine at all.... In MY opinion, I think 14 years old is way to old to use creatine.....just eat healthier (If you want to get big just eat and lift...) And I don't think you need p90x since your 122 lbs..... P90x is for burning fat, and your really skinny already, I think you should just eat healthier since if you are running for 30 minutes a day, you should already have a 6 pack (If you've been running for a while now) Just eat healthier if you want 6 pack, since you have a 4 pack already you should be on your way there And if you want bigger biceps, eat more...and train, muscles dont come magically out of nowhere :P

As Poopehh mentioned above, you are probably a little young still to start drinking creatine/protein shakes. The p90x is NOT going to help you get ripped. That will have to be by heavy lifting with weights. The program is more oriented towards overall body fitness, flexibility, and endurance (sort of). Not recommended for someone of your age or weight (122 is skinny for 5' 9-10" honestly).

You don't weigh enough, and P90X isn't like getting ripped and getting all the babes, it's like actually being strong. EDIT: I just realized that I basically just reposted everything everyone else in this thread said.

i don't think a 14 year old should be doing p90x maybe wait for your body to mature but idk, maybe you should try it out

I heard p90x is really tough. A couple of my friends did it and got their ass kicked

Hard to get motivated when you're stuck in a room working out alone. But effective.

Thanks, everyone. I really appreciate it. So, for now, it's no P90. I just need to run more, and bench more? And is there anything I can do besides running to increase the speed of getting that six pack and having it become fairly sculpted? I'm going to run anyways, I just happen to be slightly impatient so I'd like to speed up that process haha. And for lifting weights, I'd like to know if this is good. This is what I've been doing for a few weeks. .5 sets of 10 reps of 90 pounds (that's benching) .Then I do 35 pounds of curls, and I do that 50 times .And then I lift dumbells (10 lbs) I lift em to the sides .And 50 pushups... And for my abs I do planks for 1 minute and I do 300 situps a night...

If you only workout chest 'n' bis you're gonna look retarded and not gain any weight. You have triceps, forearms, traps, shoulders, as well as a huge group of back muscles and leg muscles that you're neglecting.

Yes it works. My polo team did it last year and is continuing it this year (just started again) If you're ready to be sore for a few days/weeks after first starting, then go for it! ^_^

And when I do the dumbell lifting to the sides that works other muscles in my arms.
