I was just wondering because I bought a world transfer.

My Characters: Navvies - 41 Mardia Warrior

For all intents and purposes, yeah it is. Of course, most of the time, it doesn't mean a world transfer, name change, etc would go through.

Generally they are the same thing, except maintenance is focused more on fixing the assinine glitches Nexon implements into the game. Server Checks are generally the times they do more things (like maintenance, world transfers, name changes, scheduled event alterations, adding NX items, etc.). Also keep in mind that nexon loves to forget to do world transfers and name changes during Server Checks. They are good liars I suppose,

Maintenance - fixing bugs etc rebooting server server check doing name change , server change , rebooting server if they want adding cash shop stuff
