The beginning of the world, according to Christianity, was created by an omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent deity. After the genesis, God created humans in (his) own image. How then could it be possible that humans were able to note in precise detail of the world's origin? - Did God bestow an honour upon a few select people, and allow them to talk directly to (himself)? If that is so, then it spoils the christian principle of equality. Since one principle is misleading, how can we be sure that the others aren't as well, and that the whole religion is an elaborate lie to serve as an "Opiate for the masses"? After all, faith is an euphemism for wishful-thinking.

Sigh... Faith and logic are on two completely separate planes of reasoning. You cannot argue against faith with logic, and vice versa.

If God is 'good', then why does he allow 'evil' to thrive? If he's too weak to eradicate evil, then why are we worshipping Him? Or 'muttering to the air for help' as it says in the book that Nexon plagiarised for Evan...

He gives us free will and people sin and do evil things to each other.
Yarrum61 : Sigh... Faith and logic are on two completely separate planes of reasoning. You cannot argue against faith with logic, and vice versa.
This is not true. The moment one makes a claim about reality, he opens up his position to logical critique. Perhaps God need not conform entirely to logic (I'm not certain of that), but Christianity as a religious system should. It cannot say simultaneously X and not X; it is one or the other. In other words, there must be some sort of internal logic, otherwise it's complete chaos. However, I'm not sure that this particular case is very problematic.

In the beginning, after God had created Earth, he made one Man and one Woman, both of these could speak directly to God. However, they sinned and therefore became "Dead" spiritually and lost that strong connection with God. All their children, I.e rest of humanity is now "Dead" to God as the sin that the first man and woman committed is carried on to every new human being. The first man and woman lived for 900 years after they sinned and therefore were easily able to recount all that God had shared with them. Does this answer your question?
Yes, but faith does not follow the formula of logic. If you tell a religious person that a god cannot exist because of blah blah blah, even if your argument is logically sound his view will still not change.

Why do so many Christians insist that the bible - the "word of the Lord" if I'm not mistaken - isn't meant to be taken literally? Like seriously, I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be taken literally hundreds/thousands of years ago up until probably the 20th-21st century when religion was nonsensical to the modern person so they adapted the concept of 'not literal bible' in order to survive and not die off like all the other primitive religions. If you want to call yourself a Christian, then don't call your freaking holy book fictional.
