Is it necessary for me to get meditation and MP eater? I've been looking at all of the different builds and discovered MP eater doesn't do anything if you mist and meditate only adds 20 m.att and lasts 3 minutes when the 20 m.att potion lasts 8 minutes. It may cost a little more but I don't know. Is Meditate and MP eater useful to f/p Archs?

Mediation is the only thing that needed by priest and bishop...they love our mediation skill and MP eater is necessary too...(max everything including slow...) slow and seal are our defense skills that priest and bishop don't have...I could kill elder wraith when i was level 71 with slow and poison...when I was 80, I could kill 2 gate keepers in 1 round...thanks to poison, seal and slow..
garuda : Both of them are necessary, trust me...
Nearly everyone in the f/p forum agrees that mp eater is useless. During poison training because you are constantly bumping into monsters you burn an insane number of potions anyway. Even as a fizard, past level 7x you will still end up burning potions, mp eater barely helps at all. It may be helpful for clerics who can heal their own hp or i/ls who can stop monsters in their tracks with ice strike, but for a class with no stalling skills save slow/seal (which frankly waste time during training) it does not benefit us at all or save us any money. And, of course, come fourth job it becomes entirely obsolete. You are far better off maxing an actually useful skill (fire arrow) and leaving mp eater at level 3. Meditation on the other hand, is useful and should not be skipped.

MP Eater is about as useful as the cabinet that told "someone" Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.... and got it wrong.

IImaplersMeditation = somewhat useful. Which mage doesn't want a 20 magic attack boost? Mp Eater = terrible and useless. Leave it at 3 and be content with life.

OK so Meditation still has its uses. What kind of build would be recommended? Should I go Hybrid?
