i just want feedback from some corsairs which skill is used more at 4th job gaviota or flame thrower?

Get 26 flame, 15 gav, and max everything else. At least that's my personal opinion.

Personally for me, I use neither in 4th job. I maxed ice splitter instead

flame thrower. i actually use it now and then as a macro combination with ice when my ship is down. also when balance patch comes out, the damage for flame and ice will be increased

I maxed gavoita myself. I don't know what my FT is... If I could go back I probably would get flamethrower instead. But it's not necessary. Rapid fire kills a mob of 5 faster than FT/IS combo when the no minimum range comes out.

Question: Is the damage of airstrike affected by the level of gaviota? Some people max gaviota(lvl30), some leave it at level15. Since gaviota and airstike uses the same bird, i wonder if an airstrike with lvl30 gaviota will be stronger than an airstike with lvl15 gaviota? Thanks in advance.

Gaviota doesn't affect air strike. Gaviota's damage is based on a set attack value in the skill. Air strike is based off of your attack range. So a sair with 5k range and a sair with 7k range would do about the same damage with gaviota (assuming the same level gaviota) but would have different air strike damage.

I never use gaviota at all. However i use flamethrower + ice splitter in combination when my ship breaks, makes for an awesome mob decimating skill especially with max elemental boost.
