Flame Gear Useless?

Hey, I'm quickly reaching lvl 70 for my Blaze Wizard, but I don't know which path to go. I've read the guide thats pinned on BasilMarket, and I was pretty sure I was going to go Flame Gear style, but then recently, I've been having doubts wondering if Fire Strike is better. What I want to know is can Fire strike do solo training and have equally fast training? Which one burns more pot? Fire Strike or Flame Gear? Which one did you / your friends max out, and why? And how well has it worked out for you/your friends? Thanks to those who can help (: PS: I'm a normal luck Blaze Wizard.

Neither burn pots really at all, the difference between the two is not noticeable. Flame Gear training is without a doubt the faster of the two, but Fire Strike is still a viable option, that's why it's in the guide as option B or C. It's all down to your choice really, flame gear training is faster but more dangerous I suppose, Fire Strike training is slower but safer.

Flame gear is poison training. Use it at the right maps, and its really fast.

I went Fire Strike first and it was loads cooler than Gearing stuff. It was fast, for me at least. I was able to Himes extremely early and netted over 50% all the time using a combination of Fire Strike + Flame Gear as I moved across the Himes map.

Can you train nearly 20 levels in 2 hours of 4x? btw i went gear build and it was awesome, just potburn to the EXTREME

So what if my aim for this blaze wizard is to actually farm items for my bishop's 4th job skills. Which would help me hunt faster? Gearing or Fire Strike? I'm going to collect things mostly like Dragon Hearts from Blue Wyern.

i went gears too i used 16mill pots in 3days T^T but on the bright side 4x + ring mule at kents = 5xx%/hour

use flame gears, its really fast. Use elixers and that 40% hp/40% mp pots when training.

Flame Gear = Faster Exp = Faster Killing = More Drops = More Chance For Item You Want. Yes Flame Gear is faster.
