Hey guys.. I'm just wondering how people gain respect in the game. Yes, it might sound ridiculous but there are people in the game who are well-respected. I don't know if I need to nx myself better or what but not a lot of High Levels in Galacia are nice Most of them think of you as an ant. What makes them feel superior anyways?

Well from my experience, Being humble and unselfish are some of the key qualities needed to gain respect. Especially on boss runs such as zak, scar etc. Of course it is tempting to take scrolls, loot, helm etc if it drops but overcoming that temptation and listening to the leader will put u into their reliable list. Eventually rumour spreads and u start getting respected by other maplers about your good qualities. Don't expect respect in one day, its a gradual thing. Like they say, What goes around comes around. If your working hard and honestly then it will all come back to you.

SilverFoxRNX won't help... being known does, being a nicer person helps... ultimately, being friendly, talkative and active (possibly also having a strong guild/alliance) is what'll do it more than anything. Oh, that and maybe doing something that makes you famous to some extent. For example, I began making comics and now I get recognized on my Hero almost every day I play on him. ...I really gotta get back to finishing that arc sometime... =p

Treat everyone nicely, no matter what level. Be open to help and assist people, try do things for the community; every small step counts.

If you're asking this question, then you're already taking a step in the wrong direction.

I like to help low levels but sometimes they bug me with questions lmao. When I killed balrog in the ship today, they spammed like crazy O_o It was funny But annoying at the same time they're still stalking me lmao. @darkgrudge88 - How is asking for tips lead me to the wrong direction?

A lot of people on Kradia know me, I'm not respected or anything because my level isn't that high or I don't have great equips, but I'm well known. Most of the level 180+ people have contacted me before, either because they needed 2x drop or 2x buff. And now many of them have become my buddy listers :D Also, I help people out, I sold a guys Chaos scroll in my shop, he thought I'd scam but I didn't and gave him all the money (after taxes) and now I'm like his idol or something.

If I really wanted to do something like this, here is how I would go about doing it: When a new world comes out, start over in that world and devote an absurd amount of time to leveling and becoming strong. Then start a guild full of people you trust, and join forces with those people to take down some badass bosses. After getting everyone in the group helmed (just an example) and whatnot, priority would shift to selling those boss spoils to other players. Develop a reputation as a trusted, approachable group of efficient bossers, and hope that the new world thrives and doesn't turn into some awful ghost town of a server. Oh, if I only had the CHARISMA. edit: By respect, I thought you meant for past accomplishments or something. Hell, you can become well known if you chill in Henesys without being a jerk about it.
