drinking or smoking weed? my friend and i are arguing in which is worse. i say drinking is worse, from personal experiance and seeing friends drunk off their ass. so what do you think is worse?

i know both are bad but which is worse.. imo drinking is way worse. more people have died drinking then smoking.

Alcohol is toxic. Smoking things is toxic. They're both bad. The only thing that makes me feel weed is worse is that it is illegal in more regions across the world than alcohol.

Depends on how much usage, but generally--alcohol can kill you inside-out, not to mention once you're drunk you are rendered useless and a walking bomb waiting to wreak havoc upon ones self and everything around you.

[/quote] there is no worse people feel like one thing is worse than the other because they've had personal experiences with it that's about it. if you took that out of the equation, you wouldn't be able to be biased and probably would not say what you are now because of which, there is no general worse, there's just which is worse to you so why ask other people about an opinion of yours that will never change?

Or did they drink irresponsibly and then do other things which caused their death?

When it comes to effects on health I think excessive drinking is SLIGHTLY worse. Mentally it's WAY worse... I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the only longterm mental effects of excessive pot is just apathy, bad memory, and slow processing. But alcohol can absolutely ruin you..

[/quote] my friend got alcohol poisoning his FIRST time drinking and died.. most people do other things to die, but its like. nobody i know when their high do stupid ass stuff. my friends who drink do stupid stuff all the time when there drunk. jumping off stuff, wanting to drink even more, just being retarded. my high friends just sit there, chill out. my friend dieing is just one of the reasons i hate drinking.

I don't think Marijuana has much of a present in East Asia however. OT: Both have good and bad aspects. Drinking in small portions actually helps your digestive tract and is good for you. However binge drinking or drinking while driving, things of that nature get you killed with one bad decision. Smoking weed, has medicinal uses, but you're still inhaling carcinogens which will eventually lead to lung cancer, probably slower than cigarettes since cigarettes are pretty much on toxic steroids with all the crap companies put in them. I would say drinking is worse simply because weed has more legitimate reasons for use than recreational, patients with cancer, battling anorexia, and just about anyone overloaded with stress to the point where they have trouble getting through the day will actually be better off smoking a blunt every other day or once a week. Most drugs in moderation can be good for you, unless chemically enhanced to high hell.
