First off, I'm not sure if this is the right section, I couldn't find a section having to do with Nexon or Cash shop, that would be a little more specific. So anyway... Thursday May 27, 2010 Server check, 1 PM~4 PM PST 12:00 PST~ I started my time on maple like any other day, I checked the site for any signs of Server Checks, after it was cleared and I saw that their was none, I logged in, found a Gallo partner and waited for my friend to log on so I can use his ring mule, 12:30 PST~ He logs in, brings his mule to me and I get ready for training. I get a rep mule ready and go in Cash shop to buy my 2x exp card. I buy the card and use the 2x rep from my mule, Begin training on 8.36x exp (Don't argue with me on this I've already proved people wrong). 1:02 PST~ A notice pops up at the top of my screen saying a server check is suppose to have started 2 minutes before and it will last 3 hours. I take a Screen Shot that consists of the notice and the time on my 4 hour 2x exp card. I logged a ticket to nexon in hope that maybe they would stop being greedy for 5 minutes and refund my 2k nx so I can train, Today I finally got a reply and they said due to the fact they posted a notice, it's no longer their fault. How is this fair? There was no advancement on the notice, it was 2 minutes AFTER it was already suppose to have been started. Due to an Unscedualed server check I think it's only fair that they atleast hear me out and stop being the greedy money hungry corporation they are known as and start giving a damn about their players. If anyone else has had a situation similar to this please tell me what you did and what nexon did because even being Nexon I don't think this is fair. Any other game would have compensated for the loss of my nx. I mean we are talking about real money, regardless of how little the amount is.

Can't afford to compensate? They are one of the world's leading gaming companies and they can't afford to compensate? That statement makes no sense at all. They are a multi billion dollar corporation and they cant stop being greedy and give me back my $2?

Yeah that happend to me once...it sucked alot it was on my AM but i had to brb and i didn't really find the notice untill i got logged out. Maple sucks sometimes doesn't it?

I agree...your that Aran I ksed off my Jester channel about a week ago..I ran u off with my friend Dave. Sorry about that dude, I just wanted to level and you stole my map. stalking you and running you off went a bit far tho.

There are a lot of people who want to take advantage, so being careful should be their attitude. What if you were just about to finish your 2x card and then the server check happened? Giving another 2x to them would be unfair and they would waste money. I can't really say much anymore but you just have to be in their shoes to make a good decision. On an end note, you don't need 2x to level and you don't need to spend money on this game :]. Just saying.

I never spend my own money on this game, MTS ftw, spend other people's money. And I DO need 2x to level because gallo feel extremely slow on anything less than 8x atm.

13243, Yeah I have I actually got knocked down from 114 to 57 on one of my old priests.......that was an epic fail on Nexon's behalf. levels are easy to get back, nx isnt really lately for me. @Tsuyu Surveys don't work for me.

my overall is 22 INT and my cape was a PUAC, only 7 INT 6 MA, which is why I sold it, its my only crappy item. @off topic These are the 99 nx clothes that i got before the SC, not after so dont flame me for complaining about 2k nx when i have a full outfit basil just hates updating my pic

im not flaming or anything but it's your fault for not logging off at the server check time and keep training. even though it was after 2 minutes, it rly doesnt matter since you didnt read the server check. -nexon is quite greedy at this point so we gatta deal with it :P

Unlike the majority of you all who still start maple from that one icon with-in the nexon folder, im glad they made it so u start maple up from the website. u get to see all their messages AND u can have maple window moded AND keep ur browser fit along side maple and refresh ur browser every so often to check up on things like oh well i dunno....maybe a server check? i mean its not at all hard to do that. Edit:funny how in ur OT u state how your upset that they wont return "your" two dollars. and now above u say u mtsed those two bucks along with all and any other nx cash? If its not your cash in the first place you shouldnt care. it wasnt your two bucks to begin with mister "mts ftw"
