Should I go for it or not? girl problem -,-

Okay so two days ago, this girl asked me who I like and I said her. Then I asked her back who she likes, and she said me. Happy ending? No. After a while, her msn private message changed to "Actually I dunno, I am confused." At first I have no idea why she is confused, but then yesterday my friend told me. Apparently she likes me, but also at the same time she likes my best friend -,- My best friend is a good guy and I don't want to hurt him but I can't help but to feel jealous. Anyway, my friends told me that I should man up and ask her out. I did. And she said yes. However, she still went to a few of my friends and ask for their advice. They all said she should be with me and because my best friend doesn't like her, theres no point of her waiting for him. I know that if my friend do like her, she would probably choose him over me. According to her, the reason why she likes my best friend cuz she feels comfortable around him, and the reason she likes me because i am funny and I make her happy. -,- My friends told her that she should be with me and stop thinking about the other guy. She promised but girls always change their mind =/ So here is the dilemma. Should I still go out with her even though if I know that she will most likely still have another guy on her mind? Or should I just let go? Logic tells me that I should let go but I don't think I can. I am kinda going crazy for her. I can't sleep for the whole night and every minute is like a year to me. But If i do go out with her, I am afraid that I will hate my best friend and hurt him. I am kinda like a typical scorpion, very possessive and also quite a bit of control freak. So what should I do?

If your best friend doesn't like her, why would he be hurt? Go for it, the relationship probably won't last outside of high school anyway, assuming thats what you're in. Try to keep your mind, and hers off your best friend.

Dude, best thing you can do is talk to her about it. See who she likes more? I don't understand why girls say yes to guys when they ask them out, EVEN THOUGH THE GIRL LIKES SOMEONE ELSE...
