Maple wont work.

I tried downloading the game to my laptop, to play there too. I went on the website, and everything was okay, suddenly my anti-virus started giving alerts, so I turned them off, and when the download was done and I had it installed, I could not play it. Probably moved to vault. I tired to do the same, without my anti-virus on, and yet I get the same problem. I tried to download it again, this time with the old version, and it still does not work. The icon is not a mushroom, as it has to be, but it looks like a white sheet of paper. Anyway, I did not care about it, thinking it might be some glitch. I went to the website, to start the game, and I keep getting Error: -30. How do I get it working? I've had maplestory before on my laptop, but when I took a break, I removed it. &It worked fine back then! EDIT: This is what happens. D: EDIT vol 2: When I try to run maple, the screen goes black, as if it's starting and then it shows me desktop again and says this!

In order for anyone to help you, you need to : 1) Provide a detailed explanation of the problem. 2) Include ERROR CODES, screen shots, Alerts that you are getting. My advice, leave your Anti-virus ON and Firewall ON, completely uninstall Maplestory. Go to the Main website (google: Maplestory Global English Site), Download the NEWEST Client installer. When it is done: WINDOWS XP: There should not be ANY reason why your anti-virus should give you an alert about installing this. Once installed, your firewall, if you have any will ask you for permission to allow the maplestory client to access the internet (if you have a firewall), press Yes and remember the settings. If you have a firewall and were not prompted for maplestory client access, then you must go to your firewall settings and make a special rule to allow maplestory to access the internet. WINDOWS VISTA/7: You will be prompted before installing if you will allow this program to install (because of known compatibility issues) Press Continue. Then follow the same steps for Windows XP. If you are trying to use an VERY OLD Client installer, it will not patch properly.

Well uh ... Did you bother removing it OUT of the vault? If it's still a white sheet of paper, it means your AV has done something to it.

Virus > Vault (Or Quarantined?) Something along the lines of that, take it out. And next time you get the error click "Ignore".

uhh if u ignore it it'll still won't let u play go AVG>tools (up top)>resident shield>exception>add maplestory.exe file after installation EDIT-during installation press ignore

Oh great, thanks, the mushroom icon finally appeared. Let me try if it works too It doesn't work still..Some weird error, and I can't read it? I'll post the SS.

yea i got the exactly same problem like you do! but im getting error code -45. Im also using avg..
