Hey guys PLEASE READ: This is a guide to help people who have very little experience with merchanting, will refuse to buy any NX, and have very few to no mesos. It is meant to help people get their first 100 mil or so before they start figuring out prices and merchanting other stuff on their own without any help. ------------------------------------------------------- Have an appealing "Spam Message" When buying or selling stuff, you always want to make sure that people will be attracted to what you are saying regardless of what it is. Never, and I repeat, NEVER just say "buying leathers". It is unappealing and very few eyes will go directly to it. You want to have a message like "BUYING ALL LEATHERS 2K EACH!" and then add a bunch of @'s at the end of it so it will go higher. Put 4 @'s, then a space, then 4 @'s, then a space, then continue until you have no characters available in the chat box. This will ensure that it will reach the highest possible height it can reach, making it appealing for people to read. ------------------------------------------------------- How to spam a message properly I see LOTS of people taking a long time to resend their message, which leads me to think that they do not know how to spam properly and are probably typing it out each time. When spamming a message, you cannot say the same thing more than 3 times without having an annoying message box coming up and saying "Repeating the same line over and over can negatively affect other users". So this is what you do: For example, say you are buying leathers. 1) You start off by typing out: "B> LEATHERS 2k EACH! @@@@ @@@@ etc..." 2) Press enter 3) Press up and add a period or somthing at the end of it 4) Press enter once again 5) Press up twice 6) Press enter 7) Press down 8) Press enter 9) Repeat steps 7 and 8 to get a repeating message which is spammable. ----------------------------------------------------------- Starting off with literally 0 mesos KPQ is what really helped me out here. Keep KPQing until you get some earrings which you can then sell to the npc for 10 - 30k. This is where your merchanting begins. Of course, you can continue to kpq until you get that overall dex 10 % scroll everybody is buying, which you can sell in the freemarket for about double the amount people are buying it in the kpq area. ---------------------------------------------------- ~30K + First off, it is pretty much necessary to take advantage of maplestory's events if they have special etc items given out (EX. Maple leafs, Evan sweat droplets, Compass letters, etc..). These items tend to sell for a high amount and they are very easy to merchant. Buy them from the new players at the KPQ area for around 1k - 2k less than average buying price, and sell them in the free market entrance for the right prices. Remember, you want to buy these in bulk. This is how you get your mesos, if you buy 20 or 30 at a time and then sell it, you are making not nearly as many mesos as you potentially can b

I find people spamming @@@@'s in areas besides the fm really annoying. You can't see the chat, and if someone had leathers then they would trade you anyways.

I think you should really add this once you do get 100million. Do the NX su rverys, and buy a shop. Then either buy scrolls or cheap scrolled items and sell for a maximum profit. For example, in a shop a GFA 60% sells for 6-6.2 mill, while spamming in FM can sell for 5-5.5 mill. Edit: Sorry, i skipped over the shop permit part.

I hate the new noob merchants who now go B> Scrolls B> 10 att wg B> yeah.. It used to be me and those other Merchant websites/ guilds and now there's like friggin 7-10 in scania FM's. Competition is so hard >.>. I blame basiiil.

Spamming takes a while. I recommend just waiting for deals in the fm entrance. Just yesterday, someone spammed S>Ilbis (2) 7mil. I quickly traded, and boom. Instant profit.

hey thats a really nice guide..I want to use this guide for merchanting but the thing is I can't buy the permit store at the cashshop ><.. I can afford it. its the buy button that's gray o_O
