ZOMG! The maintenance! It does nothing!

Am I the only one that was having the hackshield error the other day that the maintenance didn't fix? Isn't that mainly what the maintenance was supposed to FIX? I went back and did all of the old helping steps, etc, and I don't even have an anti virus installed on my maple computer (thats right, I have a computer just for maple/WoW. Don't judge). And the firewall is turned off. It makes NO SENSE. In case you just didn't read, to everyone that had the HackShield error yesterday, are you still getting it after maintenance?

Nexon sucks man... I mean if mabinogi is having problems, have a sc for mabinogi, NOT FOR ALL GAMES... what kind of idiots are running nexon?

Where does it say they were fixing that problem? @Applesnacks: Say there was some vulnerability in Mabinogi's servers. Maybe they were looking at other servers as well. That's why it's called "Maintenance".

I'm pretty sure Nexon is not numb enough to shut down all their games for just Mabiongi. They probably took the time to fix up minor errors that got in the way. Since it just ended, we won't really know what they fixed, since the game has many functions and etc.

if ppl can read it was a Network Maintenance so usually i think if its a problem with network then it pretty much effects all nexon game dunno about the web based ones tho

And @above, I just kinda assumed that thats what they were doing, seeing as loads of people instantly got that error after the Server Check.

I think you're acting quite stupid for thinking that workers at Nexon, who help run the world's most popular F2P gaming service would actually take down all of their games if they didn't have to.

[/quote] Now I'm not going to promote thread jacking in my own thread and let this turn into a Nexon debate thread, but Nexon has done some pretty stupid things in the past. And not to mention that it may be difficult for them to only shut down the Mabinogi servers. And the popular F2P gaming service? It's just because they were one of the first to have the CS idea, thats all. And Wizet made MapleStory, not Nexon. Nexon let things go downhill. That aside, can we please focus on the problem? Did anyone have the 'Cannot connect to server' error for HackShield? And I'm not an idiot, this happened when the servers were up and my connection was flawless. I even plugged into the modem for the love of god.

Still not working. My neighbor's going try to open it from his Windows 7 dual boot (he's having the same problem). I'll edit this post when I get results. Edit: Okay, he got in game on Windows 7. Error only seems to apply to XP.

Actually, they fixed the times on the clocks in the boat places. So they fixed something.
