| Usually I won't ask stuff like this on basil, but I really don't know where else I should ask this. :/ Anyway, here's the story: Our neighbours are horrible. - They make a lot of noise late in the evening - Their dogs bark all day long - They have a trampoline set up right next to the wall between our gardens, and their children are looking into our house for at least an hour a day... during dinner, when we're watching TV, or doing other kinds of normal stuff. We always see them jumping that trampoline and looking inside. Sometimes they even wave at us - We have politely asked them to move the trampoline to the other side of the garden. The answer was that he'll beat us up if he sees anyone of us on the streets - Of course we called the police, but since our neighbour works for the government and has a lot of contacts, the police refuses to believe us. The fact that we called the police on them made them even more mad. - In winter they were throwing snowballs on our windows- both the children and the parents. - They throw gross stuff into our garden - They cuss at us whenever they see us on the streets We also have a very strong presumption they abuse their children. As you could probably understand, we don't really feel very safe when we're on the streets. The police isn't doing anything about it, and every time they go to their door it only gets worse. We don't want revenge or anything. We just want to be able to walk the streets without being scared of our neighbour jumping us, because he certainly is the type of person who really would do such thing. Does anyone have any ideas? It's midnight here, so I'll read the comments tomorrow I guess. Thanks for any input. We've been thinking of talking with a lawyer, but we're not sure if he could do anything.
