I'm okay with noobs, just the arrogant ones (wait, doesn't noob mean arrogant people) So many experiences in Maple. One time, I was helping somebody out. They, instead of thanking me, said, "Drop more.." They expected me to drop more..not even a please, nor appreciation. And just before the Server Check, I went onto the boat headed towards Ellinia This guy was like, "Drop the Raccoon Mask" I said No, but I will drop it if you drop your broken glasses (~points at joke~) He then said, glasses cant be droped dumbass Seriously? Share your experiences

When it comes to helping people in Maple, you have to analyze their every action in order to gauge their personality before actually doing the deed. If you don't you will get taken advantage of without question.

I don't bother helping people anymore unless they're friends. (And even then I have to watch how much I help, because some don't know when to quit.) And I always pretend to be afk on boats, people ask me for stuff all the time on them.

My favorite thing to do is to beat them to their punchline when they trade me 8D Meaning, saying something like "MESOS PLEASE - SUKY SUKY $5" before they can type something along those lines in the trade chat.

I find it almost pointless to help random players because the majority of the ones I've met end up begging more. Now, I don't find beggars a bad thing, but sometimes spoiling them with free items sometimes gives them a reason to continue begging in the future; not exactly the ideal lesson you want to teach them but I guess for the sense, helping people out is sometimes rewarding. I don't think it's the most amusing thing however when someone gets angry at you for not being "benevolent enough".

Yeah I have noticed a severe increase of lameness on maple lately with people who should know better asking stupid questions that could be looked up in 10 seconds by coming here or another maple related website. Tough and complicated question? Sure ask people. Too lazy to spend 10 seconds looking up the answer yourself? Get a grip! Additionally, people continuing to ask questions when they have been answered. Example; Annoying noob 1: Where is so and so NPC? Mel: Its in henesys. Annoying noob 1: You sure its in henesys? Isn't it in kerning? Me: No. Its in henesys. Annoying noob1:So you are saying its in henesys, yes? Me: *bangs head on desk*

I was talking to my friend about how much money we had while we were in Ludi PQ, and then the leader begged so I gave him 500k. He kept begging so I gave him 500k more. But after that he begged from my friend and everyone else in the PQ for money and pots. Before I joined the party he needed pots, and I gave those to him too. After that, I repeatedly told him to stop begging. Eventually he stopped. But seriously man, just because you have 7mil doesn't mean you're rich. I was feeling really generous that day, but there's a limit, plus he made everyone leave when he didn't do the PQ with everyone. 100k or less=Poor 500k=Welfare 1mil=Keep investing 20-50mil=Fancy 1bil or more=Rich
