Help with Maker Skill

About the Maker skill, I got some Q's: 1) Is there a chance to fail the making of an equip? 2) I don't understand what simulators do. Do they take a socket? 3) Is there a chance to fail the crystal being used (so it does not add anything)? Tyvm!

1) Is there a chance to fail the making of an equip? No (not 100% sure)(only if you use stimulator) 2) I don't understand what simulators do. Do they take a socket? nope, that just make, so equip etc. will be avg. (have 10% failure chance) 3) Is there a chance to fail the crystal being used (so it does not add anything)? Yes, there is a change, it sometimes can even make it worse (depends on crystal though, i think)

They higher the stats of the equip you are making (stimulators that is)

If you add a stimulator your equip will be average or better. if not using one, it could possiblely be below average

1)No, unless your are using stimulators. 2)Stimulators don't take up a GEM socket because they use their OWN socket. 3)Crystals WILL NEVER make your stats worse. Only Dark and Black crystal will add a random stat the amount it adds depends on it's grade. People think crystals sometimes give lower stats is completely false. The only reason why a stat is lower is because maker has a built in stat randomizer. Meaning it can give above or below average stats.

The maker skill is a skill that you can use to make weapons First you need to do this quest that appears in the job catergory (you need to be lvl 40+)
