level 77 gunner at jr. newties?

Is it possible and effective for a level 77 gunner to start training at newties with decent equips? i have a zhelm, dep star, and about 60 base dex if that helps.

60 dex? and you're a outlaw? o.o Ima guess that that's a typo so... I'd suggest you wait till 80 or so once you have good octo (maybe 83) hope this helped

60 base dex? lol go train at snails beter :D and if u mean str u can go at 80 for beter get overall 80 so more def and a new weapon with good att and add some on ice and octopus

Imo outlaws arent effective at newts during 8x I have pretty good gear as well, 45 base dex and all teh stuff you listed and it takes me 8 burst fires to kill it at level 83

Also wondering about newts..would 85 be a good lvl to go there? and till how long?

I think u mean base 60 str, and if so you should be quite effective at jr newties i went there at lvl 77 (with a base 90 str very sad) and i had an un-occasional miss every now and then so not that bad

You can get decent exp there, but the numbers you'll be pulling off will be utterly depressing (like 1k-ish per bullet of BF). Level 80 is a much better level to start there, but people recommend leaving WRs at 85 to go to newties because at level 80, WRs are still better.
