Hybrid means the best of both worlds. They don't have worse damage. So what if you can't max the boosters and Iron Will? Hybrid is the better choice; mobbing early 3rd with a PA and spear in 4th.

Neither will made a difference to your bossing abilities or damage. The main difference is that you'll have less useful skills and more training versatility with one build over the other. I'm sure you can guess which is which. Edit: But just to make sure there's no confusion... No matter what, you will not be sorry if you go hybrid. The only things you'd lose out on are Final Attack and Iron Will, both completely useless skills, and Dragon Blood, which is debatable. Hybrid will let you level that much faster, and will in no way diminish your bossing abilities in 4th job. For a complete build, go to the DrK subforum under the Warrior section, and click on the "Hybrid Dragon Knight" guide on the left.

Well, this depeneds on what job. If you are going hybrud for all three jobs (spearman, Dk, DrK) than it would be better to go pure spear. But, hybrid for second job and pure spear for 3-4 will be the better option in my opinion.

Always go hybrid. Level faster + Just as strong endgame. @ABOVE- Screw iron will, max boosters because you will be with a priest with bless anyways 3rd job EDIT: Get hybrid skills. Then use P.A. till like 130 then train at skelegons w/ a spear. using a PA always train on large mobs. Fastest way to level.
