I feel like such an idiot for having to post this, but I need a hand with the new Maplestory log-in. Recently, Nexon had the bright idea to force players to change their password every 3 months. This is all fine and well, except you need to fill-in your " Last Name " to change the bloody password. Unfourtunately, I did not consider this when signing-up to Maplestory 5~6 years ago <(-_-)> I filled in a fake name, fake phone number, fake address, and whatever else you need to tell them to make a character (not sure, havn't made one in years), then promptly forgot about them (not like Maplestory is the only thing I have to think about, or even the only game I need to remember log-in and passwords for). My email, my password and my username are the only pieces of information I kept track of. Has anyone managed to find a way to change their password without any other information, or even just get an email from their bots that may have the user's "Last Name" in it? Can you file a ticket from the password changing screen? I have never actually logged one, so I am unfamilliar with the process. tyvm

log on at nexon.net and then go to support. then go to customer support, then request support then submit a ticket

I tried this, but it just sends me to another password changing screen. I know none of my characters are particularly high level, but I have grown rather attached to them, and really do not want to lose them

they suggest for you to change your pass, you arent forced to. tick the "remind me in 1 month" box and you're fine.

LOl log a ticket that wont do anything nexon dont give a dam about the players and there problems they will send you some bull crap auto response that has nothing to do with the ticket you logged

Also, it reduces your internet footprint, which is always a good thing when applying to a job/school/special program.
