Dragon Khanjar. Should I try att or luk scrolls? Help?

Ok so this is my dillema. I have a clean 16 att dragon khanjar and was going to scroll it myself. I only have 80 mil right now and with all the new reverse things im making, Im quickly running out of money. (just hit 120! woot) I was going to sell my old dagger for over 100 mil (probably like 170) but still with maker crystals, it is getting expensive, not to mention the PoTs. I had 45, but still need 30 more. :/ So, Im thinking once I sell old equips, and buy some new stuff, I will be pretty much flat broke in the end. So, here is my question. I could probably manage to buy like 9 60% luk scrolls. So a possibility of 18 luk. MAX. I could do that or, I could try and get like.... 1 or 2.... att scrolls... ALTHOUGH! 1 att is like 5 luk i hear. (about that... gets closer to that conversion as you lvl higher) If I get 2 att scrolls to work it would be +4 att or about 20 luk. I thought it might be easier to get some dmg going with att scrolls but they are so dang expensive I could only do a couple and I dont like the fact that they are dark scrolls. SO, what should i do? Go and try 1 or 2 att scrolls or do luk scrolls? Thanks, in advance, for the input!

Like you said, you only need to land a few attk scrolls to equal landing ALL of the luk scrolls. Go for the attk scrolls even if it just a handful of them.

Save it and don't scroll it. When you get more funded (like, a lot more funded), buy another 16att or higher, so that you have a backup in case you blow one up. Then definitely go with ATT scrolls. Using LUK scrolls on a potential end-game shield seems kinda unwise. @ Above: It's a lvl 120 thief (STR Bandit) shield.

If you can afford dark scrolls and a new khanjar if those dark scrolls fail, then go for it. However, if you don't think it'll benefit you to do that, go with the LUK scrolls. Or try both :D good luck

I say atk since luk doesn't help you a lot and you can scroll the khanjar later when you get more mesos (if the scrolls work and don't blow it up).

I could possibly just do luk scrolls now and then try saving up for a new dragon khanjar and att scrolls later? Then i could sell my luk shield and put it towards buying more att scrolls? Edit: @xIdentity: I didnt see your post but i know what you mean. If i did use luk i wasnt planning for it to be my final shield. I guess i was worried I would blow up my shield and then have nothing. I might try to just wait it out till i save up.

The luk scrolls would probably devalue the item after scrolling. However, if you were to land all the scrolls, you might be able to rip off an unknowing person in mts.

But of the two choices you gave definitely use attack scrolls. If the third unlisted option is just be satisfied with what you have and upgrade when you can, go with that then if you are afraid to scroll. It'll be worth more clean then scrolled with luk, so just leave it as is and save yourself the price of luk scrolls and possibly hammers since you mentioned 9 slots. |
