I'm BAAAAD at math, but isn't it so that in equations "multiplies" are performed before everything else? (gosh, why have I only had math in Dutch?) -_- Unless it's like this: (6-6)*6 >< Haven't had math in 4 years...

-30... Pemdas. which means: Parenthesis first. Exponents 2nd. Multiply/Divide, depending which comes first. then Add/Subtract which comes first.

Brackets / Parentheses Exponents Multiplication/Division Division / Multiplication Addition Subtraction With this, whenever you see a pair of brackets/parentheses, you calculate whatever is in there first, then you move on if there are any exponents (powers, etc.), then multiplication/division and addition/subtraction do not matter so long as you read from left to right.
