So as the title says i just made a Hero - to be, was wondering whats the most common/most affective weapon used by heroes. is it 1h sword or 2h sword or what? warrior weapons confuse me, apart from polearms spears ofcourse, thats pretty straight forward

You use a 1h if you can get at least a 20 att shield because of the speed difference on the 1h, basically if your funded go 1h

2h is for the non funded. If you have like 600m+, you could go 1h because you can afford a 1h sword and atk shield. 2h can be less like stonetooths but these can go up to 1b if they�re around 125 attack.

Attack shields are pretty expensive, in Broa a 15 atk already runs at 500m+ so... If your budget can take it then go for 1h.

My friend has a 22 attack shield in MTS for like 200k NX if that helps...

You could just look at heros in game and see what weapons they use... see whats more common The answer is 1h by far

well most common, i have found has been the Stonetooth, due to people liking their speed and all the "sheeps" following them lol but the best i'd say is 1h a nice shield and 1h sword looks way cooler imo

If you have enough funds to get a really nice 2HS go for it. If you prefer shield then go 1HS, but either works well. In my experience anyway~ Realistically speaking it's supposedly 10 attack for every level of speed. Soo.. If you get a godly 2HS NRW/STS it will be better then most 1HS with the exception of the "Lunch Box."

If it's just for fun, go 2h. Later on if you feel like you want to get serious about the class, you can sell off your 2h weapons for a 1h setup. I think a lot of sword-using warriors would rather have a nice 1h setup, and it's just money keeping them on 2h. I know that's the case for me, at least.

Two hand swords are the most money efficient for a long while. You honestly don't need to worry about weapons until the mid 3rd job Before then you really should care about accuracy so you can level faster.

Be whichever weapon type you want to be whearther it be the looks or the speed or whatever just dont go following others cuz they say its the best. For the people thinking 1 handed is better its not. Hell the only reason a good 95% of people even went one handed is cuz attack shields came out and I really dont see the point in it 1 handed swords have always outdamaged 2 handed users over time even before attack shields came out but now you all want both so you spend billions just to get the same range as someone who spent maybe 300m but hey people can do what they want just keep on making my sword prices and scrolls lower and with SI becomming more and more common on boss runs it becomes even more pointless to spend all those billions
