its a quiet evening, you family has gone out to eat. you are home alone. when suddenly the doorbell rang, you open the door to find a cheque for half a billion dollars(let say it is taken from somewhere so it doesnt get you in jail or ruin the economy). but theres a note attached reading" you can keep the 500 million dollars, in return, you only have 7 years to live) so do you keep it or leave it. pros: no need for an education, you have all the money you want buy anything you want you can purchase what ever items you want at your whim your parents can retire early cons: well you will die in 7 years time. your cause of death will be unknown, so you could be killed by a bear, strangled or cut up by a hobo, thrown off a building by a terrorist, etc.. ANOTHER OPTION : well you can choose how you die after that 7 years but there will be a penalty fee of 250 million bucks EDIT: after reading some comments, here is to clarify. once you take the check YOU, ONLY YOU WILL DIE. if you give it to someone else YOU WILL STILL DIE. if you lock your self in a room, you will still die , probably by ebola virus.( go check it out) no one said you will be forgotten after you die, for all you know the money you donate could be used to cure cancer.

In 7 years you can get your master's degree which = a good job. So i'd say you have about 30+ years to have fun
