Paladins at Oblivion I

I've just finished killing the whatshisname boss at road of regrets and am now advancing to the oblivion phase. When I entered the place, I noticed the background had a lot of fire and molten animation. The mobs were even red. I figured, sweet, a good spot where monsters will be ice-weak. I used ice charge and charge blow. When I hit the monster, I dealt 10k damage, which is damage I deal on neutrals of equal or similar level using ice charge and charge blow. I understand the green dudes at the first chain of the ToT quests are neutral. The blue guys are fire and lightning weak. Shouldn't the red ones be ice weak? Did I miss something?

Poison-weak and resistant to fire? That makes zero sense. Is it even worth doing these quests or should I just return to road of regrets since the mobs there are actually weak to fire and lightning?

if (when) we get balance patch, they will be changed to ice & thunder weak. But for now holy is your best bet there, or ice if you want to save money. It's sad, i know.

After the balance patch you should be fine.

[/quote] with the balance patch all but chief oblivion guardians will become ice weak, plus I'm sure with holy you can beat the exp in R4 with O4, the PoT drop rate is higher in the road to oblivion.
