Honestly? It's like saying 'i ruined my life playing maple... now i'll just ruin it some more on basil... then go on facebook and tell everyone that i ruined my life on basil talking about how i ruiined my life on maple...' If you really can't control that little voice in your head that tells you to play maple ALL the time, give your account to someone that you know won't give it back. I really hate looking at the forums and seeing 2-3 on the same page where one kid has written a novel on how they aren't close to their family/friends and their grades are dropping. I noticed they ALL say the exact same thing. Quit. I don't mean to lash out at these kids for posting their failing lives for the world to see, but seriously? If it's that big of a deal, why would you even think twice about asking complete strangers on basil if you should quit or keep playing and being awesome? As for this thread, say what you need to, if you agree or think I'm being an ass and then some- whatev. Its no sweat off my penguins!

there all the same...people whining about being addicted i've admitted i was addicted and for one day ONE DAY i left my house and enjoyed the world (hands down best day of my life ^_^) it was so...peaceful...now i do this more often than i used to (like almost never) the message here is "you don't have to quit maple...just don't quit on life"

[/quote] They're not me or anyone I know, ergo the consequences on my conscience are null if they follow through. Kids these days have no proper sense of self-control, I'm surprised they're not already asking other people to think and breathe for them. Whether or not Maplestory is an MMORPG, it is just a videogame, and people need to see it that way. If you're expecting a college diploma or some crap out of playing Maplestory, you should quit while you're ahead. Even REAL gamers know their limits.

It's kind of a word we call eachother where i'm from. (kid) Makes you feel young and lively.. as if I'm old already Lol. But if you read those posts, like 90% of them talk about their grades. People with grades are in school. People with school are kids. In my book, that is.

This man(clearly you are older than me) speaks truth. I find it very hard to believe that any person, who has been getting straight A's with any serious effort, would for any reason, get sucked into Maplestory. I find it hard to believe that Maplestory is the only thing ever that has stopped them from getting their 4.0(+), when there are so many other more worthwhile distractions in the world. I don't believe them fully ever. It seem very ridiculous that MS is that intensive for such a scholarly group of people 0.o.
