How do you fall asleep?

I can't sleep. I keep twisting a turning but I just can't fall asleep. So basilers, how do YOU fall asleep?

I close my eyes and lie there. Alternatively, you can mentally tell yourself that you'll stay up for the entire night.

I listen to podcasts or the radio on a reaaally low volume so that I can't focus on it. It's nice to have people murmuring in your ear whilst you dose off.

Fun fact: having a sexual release before sleep makes you less likely to dream AT ALL. OT: i just lay on my stomach and have my cat fall asleep on my back while she purrs and the vibrations from her purring massages me and makes me more comfy until i fall asleep.

at above, that's why i never dream :O OT, i am not good at many things, but 1 thing for sure is sleeping just lie there for about 5 minuts and i am gone.

[/quote] Yup. although i always tend to dream A LOT. all of my dreams are long and hard to forget. i remember each and every one of my dreams. although when i do that before i go to sleep I will still dream to some extent. it's almost impossible for me to go a night without dreaming. also: this also leaves a hole in the plot to the nightmare on elm street. since he can only get you when you dream.
