Fun FPS to Play

I'm bored of Maple. Hard. I LOVE FPS's but I have no idea which one to download and play. I need your help Basilers! Here's what I'm looking for: -Something OTHER THAN Combat Arms -Something that is very cheap (based on in-game currency) -Something that is fun (duh) and simple -Something that has really nice graphics. Thanks in advance! P.S. FPS = First Person Shooter (for people who don't know O.O) Edit: Sorry guys. I forgot to mention this. My mom doesn't allow me to play FPS's. Which means I can't get caught. Which means I can't buy the games. Which means I can't get CSS (Which looks afreakingmazing). So something other than CSS also. >.<

Buy css for $15 and thats all it'll cost you. 100x better than free fps games that make you pay real money to get good guns.

Counter Strike Source (MP) and Half-Life 2 (SP) are my favorite FPS games.

TF2 and counter strike are both good, although you should stay away from CS: Source. If you want a free one, you really can't beat CA, although WolfTeam can kill a few hours and Battlefield Heroes is a goofy, fun thing.

Borderlands. Perfect Dark (preferebly Nintendo 64 version, if your a graphics be-atch then go for XBLA). And maybe Conduit 2 when it's released in fall? If you have a Wii that is.

On the game itself, it's pretty repetitive, and there's not enough variety between maps and weapons. The one thing I really liked was the option to put on or remove your silencer at any time, though it didn't make a lot of difference.

[/quote] Or, you could play Soldier Front ( on the same site (ijji's)) doesn't require a nicely built computer to play, and is quite competitive. AVA is newer, better graphics, less maps / weapons. SF is older, more intense (IMO), more maps and weapons. AVA requires a good computer to play = not that many laggers. SF on the other hand doesn't require something good, which means many laggers. +_+
