| I've been browing through basil and google looking at sniper guides for about 20 minutes. I know im still quite some distance from 70, but i wanna be prepared so i dont screw up. I have noticed a couple basic guide's that showd quite a number of times. Max Strafe first - It seems that this build is good for any training but lacks the ability of mobbing and use of dummy. Olso adds "It's an Essiental Sniper guide". Max Ae First - This is essientaly a good mob skill and u dont have to "MAX" it just get it to lvl 21 becauses it's ranged is increased by doing so. Good training spots are margia, Mp3 etc. U know, mobs that have sort of low hp and still give good exp. Newties Build - I heard that this has a mixture of strafe, AE, some Eagle and some Training Dummy. It says this would allow u to start grinding at newties at lvl 88! But the cons are, slow training and gets boring appearntly. Well these are the one's that i noticed, and i wanna hear what you's think would be the best for any Sniper looking for fun and decent training. Olso i heard that even after lvl 70 WR's are still good exp, is this true? :o |
Well if you tell them what kind of food there is, they make the choice themselves leaving no room for regret since they made the decision themselves. I personally wish I went Strafe build since I hate Typhons and don't find Newtie soloing that boring (Lets me chat in guild/buddy when the Newt is respawning). |

| You don't HAVE to max strafe first. The result has to(or should?) be at the end, max strafe, max ae, max golden eagle and max puppet. I personally got my blizz to 21, 5(must) mortal blow and the rest on thrust. I got AE first so I could typhon really early (I was there around 6x, I think). I met some people along the way regretting getting strafe first because they had troubles with training. and some of them started (late) getting AE. |

| I'd suggest getting AE early instead of strafe. Typhons are actually interesting to train on since you have to not get blown off the map. (Even if you have the mark of heroism, it's annoying walk back. ) Newties are really boring, imo. I solo'd for a few levels at around 100 because typhons seemed pretty slow and it was VERY boring. |
i disagree with the eagle... eagle needs to be lvl 15 in the end(minimum lvl to get frostprey, which btw kicks eagle a** even at lvl 1), and put them on mortal blow (I have 31% speed without any skills or anything + I train with my bro, hermit)... I put 8 points on strafe and I regretted it soo much, what you need to do is: lvl 70 after advancement: put 1 point on blizzard ... this is awesome for WR's, as you can freeze them (PKB them first if necessary), allowing you enough time to stand on the same platform and spam Iron Arrow (instead of lousy double shot) ... and yes WR are good EXP, at 1x like 30% an hour with my strafe build and look what i'm wearing -_- lvl71 mortal blow +3 (3) lvl72 mortal blow +2 (5) AE +1 (1) make AE till level 25 (put points till level 80) and from there on put points on strafe AE is good in spider's cavern (strafe in comparison is almost useless), gobies (you need strong single monster shot to break the house like a few points on strafe should do it, but nothing beats AE on the 6 gobies that summon from it), WR's also, but IA is ur best choice considering flat maps IMO, the guide you follow should give you the best skills for the map you want to train in, so it really depends what you wanna do and where you wanna go and what your equips are. Sorry I can't give you a full guide, I am lvl 81 myself |

| This is probably just me, but I found Newties more fun than Typhoons. Most likely because I'm bored of training my BM at typhoons. |

| Max AE like I did, Typhons was fun to train on. If you get AE to 21 and find Typhons to be boring, start putting points into strafe/eagle and then go to newties. done. |

Sorry I can't give you a full guide, I am lvl 81 myself
Max eagle is good for newties (before 4th job) My friends told me to max it, and some people on basil too. There's no reason to max blizz (getting it for 3sec freeze is enough imo), and I don't find a reason maxing thrust as well. So I find eagle very useful from 3rd>4th job. But I agree every person should think/know where he wants to/will train, and make a build that suits him best. I love my build, and eagle attacking speed really changed a lot for me when jnpt, since I died a lot when it wasn't maxed. |

| Level 70: 1 strafe (or 1 blizard) Level 71: 1 blizard (or 1 strafe) 2 mortal blow (windraiders from 70-80) Level 72: 3 mortal blow Level 73-83: 30 Arrow Eruption (go to typhoons with 21 AE I recomend) typhoons from (80-105) Level 83-93: Max strafe, level 1 puppet (for newts training incase you get bored of typhoons. Middle platform snipeing.) (levels 80-105 training middle platform at newts Level 93-95: Get 5 puppet, so you can kill bosses like headless horsemen easier (prerequiste for eagle also), and then 2 Eagle Level 95-101: get level 20 eagle. Level 101-105: max out puppet Level 105-108: get 10 thrust Level 108-113: get 21 blizard Levels 113-120: max out mortal blow Levels are approximate. End result: Max strafe, max Arrow Eruption, 20 eagle, Max puppet, Max mortal blow, 10 thrust, 21 blizard. |
