Eternal life - a blessing, or a curse?

Personally, the concept of infinite terrifies me. I would rather become non-existent after death, than live on eternally in an afterlife. What do you think?

A curse if you can feel pain. A blessing if you can't. You can do whatever the hell you want without worrying about people killing you, unless you get stranded alone on an island, or on a mountain.

I'm referring to the eternal life as described in the bible, with no pain or suffering. Money is a non-issue. I still feel it would be a curse.

a question to atheists - since I know that you guys believe that nothing will happen after you die, what would nothing feel like? i know it feels like "nothing" but it's honestly made me think quite a lot.
