3rd jobbers owning bf?

Ok, say we're in a few parties adding up to 15 people total, all 70-120, could we beat bigfoot within half an hour? Most will be under 110, and by own, I don't mean meso bombing, a real own.

It would be tough, simply because if you got 15 chars of all different classes, bigfoots frames would be all messed up and people would die quite a bit. Bigfoot is best to solo, simply because of the bad frames. If you could pin it completely like back in the day, it'd be much easier because you could just pin it and get your hermits tossing stars all day.

as long as you have a marauder to pin bf -- otherwise youll all get trampled -- kb'ing it for constant pin just doesnt work for bf

Any skill that lets you be invincible, such as Corkscrew or Puppet, is horribly messed up when you are in a party and everyone is attacking the same monster. So: -All Archers would suck, as they couldn't dodge it and would get 1HKOed.... -All Melee classes suck, as they DEFINATELY couldn't dodge it and would get 1HKOed.... -Outlaws might be alright, but I woudln't bet on all of them clearing the BF every time with Recoil.... -Mages would suck as they do barely any damage, especially in 3rd job.... The only class I can see this actually working well with is a Hermit party with perhaps a Priest or 2 sitting on a "safe" ledge. Hermits do good 1 vs 1 damage in 3rd job. On top of that, whenever the BF would come close they could simply Dark Sight, a very good skill for this. The Priests would simply provide Holy Symbol for extra experience at the very end, and could maybe heal from wraiths and random stuff. Actually, a party of 15 Hermits and 3 Priests (3 parties of 5 hermits, 1 priest) sounds pretty solid. The Hermits could also split up: some one one side, some on the other, so the BF would keep changing its aggro and would take longer to reach each one, meaning less Dark Sight for everyone! I am positive that with these 3 parties, the Hermits could take the BF down pretty fast without dying, and with Priests would get a LOT of exp from it.

1~Unless you all are heavily hp washed, none of you will survive a hit from bf so you'll all be dying too frequently to kill it within half an hr. 2~Because of bf frames, having more than 1 person killing bf will take even longer. 3~Thanks to the frames and how rush/corkscrew works, even if you have a marauder in the group, unless he/she is hitting the highest damage he/she will have an extremely hard time pinning bf for all of you and most likely the marauder will end up getting pulled straight into bf and dying. Even if you were awesome at timing the rushes around the frames (50% of the time) it still might not work because of all the people hitting bf simultaneously. @above: Agreed, on your statement about the melee classes, unless they're hp washed, but i disagree with your mage statement. The elemental mages can have quite high damage, but the only issue is the casting speed of our skills. In this sort of situation it would be best to have at least 1 elemental mage that has slow. Slow is incredibly useful at bf especially since frames are going to screw everyone up. Outlaws will do only about as well as hermits, which stands to say it'd be nice if you allow them to be your main attackers and buff them. Having a priest would only be useful if: a. you want exp or b. you need acc c.heal And in the case of A. you shouldn't even be doing this for exp since you'll be dying alot in the first place and with that many people in party it won't even be good for exp. in the case of B. your ranged attackers and mages would be perfectly fine given that they're lv 8x+ and your melee classes aren't even going to be doing much since they'll die just about all the time. In case C., don't even bother since if you even get touched by bf you immediately die and there are barely any other monsters to worry about except the occasional firebrands and ERs which are easily taken care of by having someone lure, or just allowing a hermit/outlaw to kill.
