Why do asians born in western countries look different than asians from asian countries like china or hong kong. It is so weird, even if the parents are from china or hong kong and they have a baby here the baby looks different than if they had the baby in an asian country. Does anyone know why? Could it be because of the medication that is given to babies in western countries? What I mean is that asians born in western countries are usually more attractive than ones that aren't

The only differences I see in people from the continent of Asia are between the Middle-Eastern/Indian area and the China/Korea/Japan area. Lol.

I know what you mean, it's because of the food, geography, social life (culture) is what changes Asians to look different. When you eat western foods you grow bigger, the geography changes your body to adapt to your surroundings, and western culture such as doing sports, community service and a whole lot of other stuff you don't do in Asian countries make people look and think differently even if you're from the same race. I'm Korean, and people say i look different than people from Korea so it's pretty interesting :3 (btw i wasn't born here, it shows that just living here changes you to a large degree).

For those who don't know: East Asian countries: China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam (and maybe more) South East Asian countries: Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore South Asian countries: India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Middle Eastern: Too many to list .. just look at this map.
