-2147 error code

yeah, I get the -2147 error code everytime I click 'Play!' on Maple. I have tried downloading DirectX version 9.0, the installation did not work, it said it could not connect to the server or something. I have tried restarting my computer, that didn't work. And there are no free working registry fixers Does anyone have any suggestions? EDIT: I am currently re-installing Maple. I'll let you guys know how that goes along once it's done. EDIT2: The re-installing worked . Thanks again to you guys who helped

My computer is Vista 64-bit and this has never happened before. Last night though, our power went out, so it forced my computer to turn off (since I left it on) Could that have done anything? Because when I turned it on, and went to play maple, the error thing happened and it was working just fine yesterday. @Gwendolyn I can't find Perfect Optimizer. And if I do find it, it will probably ask me to pay for the "full" version, to completely get rid of my registry errors.

@qwan456 No I can't, since I deleted Maplestory to re-download it. When it's down downloading, and if it still doesn't work, I'll give you the full error then.
