Was the punishment for skipping school suspension? It was for our school. I never got why you would suspend someone who skips school. Like... You robbed a bank? I'm forcing you to take fifty thousand dollars. Hah!

Yes it still is too. Whoever suggested that needs to get kicked off the board. "How should we punish a kid who skips school?" "Reverse phycology... not allow him back to school! Allowing him to accomplish what he was aiming for at the first place will teach him a lesson!"

In my school, literally nothing happens if you skip, except a phone call from a machine. However we have a ridiculous tardy policy. 1-2 tardies theres a warning, 3-4 morning detention, 5-6 in school suspension 1 day, 7-8 3 days out of school suspension, 9 alternative school(AKA the school version of hell).

Never thought of it that way, lol. I don't think they give suspensions for skipping school where I live though.
