Reverse Staff or Crimson Arcanon?

Already thinking about an endgame weapon and want it to be something I make. Not buying ele wand/staff cause I don't want less damage on other skills. I know reverse staff would level up as I do, and there's chances for stats to show up. But there's the pieces of time to be gather (although I plan on making reverse dragon equips anyway, so what's more pieces of time...). Plus I could add an advanced wisdom crystal to it. However, crimson arcanon not only requires less luk, but also comes with +4 int already on it. However, the wood and the taos would be kind of hard to get... So help me fellow evans. Which in your opinion would be the better choice? FYI, no interested in DDS either. And would like to upgrade from my 7 int maple wisdom. ^_^

It depends on how much luk you can obtain without forfeiting any Int. You probably could achieve 80 with that (and thats when you can use the DDS). I'd probably just stick with that unless you could find a source of 18 Luk that costs less than 3 of your Int. However, I have heard of Lukless Mages with the DDS (heard... keep that in mind, its probably expensive as hell), and with 26 luk (before leveling and scrolling) of the Dragon equips, you may be able to pull off using the Arcannon (or if you also wanted, you could probably pull off using an Elemental Staff). Anyway, I'll edit this post with a list of Luk equips that dont forfeit Int in a moment... I should keep a list like that on hand. All will be average stats before leveling. Base: 4 Lukless equips: Zhelm/ Int Targa: 15 Black Belt: 5 HTP: 22 (5 if you are using a dep star) R. Mask: 5 (makered) R. Pendant: 11 (makered) R. Wings: 5 (makered) R. Tail: 5 (makered) Total: 72 Luk You could also find some luk when you maker level 70 Equipment, but you wont want to since that level only allows for one crystal, it will be the Int one. Luk Equips: Brown Lapis Sandals: 1 Dark/Brown Requierre: 2 Dark Lorin: 1 Total: 76 With that, I think you could realistically hit 80 with a Chaos Scroll or two on the right equips. But if you wanted to use any equip that required more than 80 luk, you'd probably have to add some base luk. If you already have a higher than normal base luk, then you are probably set for an Arcanon. Also, I'd suggest chaosing those shoes. I need to verify it myself, but basil says those shoes add Matt, int and luk. Chaos scrolls are extremely unreliable, but the potential is there and multiple useful stats gives you some assurance that at least one stat turns out ok. Other than that, Chaosed Zhelms and Black Belts are options.

Well, my base luk is 43, with +31 in equips (74). I have all the level 50 dragon armor on Mir. Zakum Helm with +15 luk, quest specialist medal (+3 to all), and horus's eye (+4 luk). My gloves, shoes, and overall however are all makered with added int so the luck from them are in total +4. My dragon glasses offer me +1 luk also. In the process of buying a red belt off of basil (so that would be +4 luk), and I plan on doing HTPQ as soon as I can realistically. And honestly, ele wands/staffs now are too expensive for me to try to get. I'm funded, but not that funded.

[/quote] Combining that with the information I posted, it would be possible for you to wield the Arcanon. Just try to get the equips as you can. If you find yourself unable to afford enough luk equips, then simply add some base luk, although I would recommend you dont. And sorry for being a perfectionist in my information, but I have a terrible tendancy to do forget that it is not realistic for anyone to achieve.

All right, thank you for the input Adrox. And trying very hard not to add any more base luk. I did some ap resets (10) about 15 levels ago so I could make my luk as low as possible and have greater int. Didn't see how you were being a perfectionist, but if you were, tis easily forgiven.
