I was watching TV eating leftovers from my dinner when I realized I had seen one of the episodes at least five times. I turned off the TV and finished eating. Being lazy, I set the plate and fork on the bed next to me. I continued doing whatever I was doing online until I heard this eerie sound next to me. It sounded like someone scratching on the window with giant metal claws. Nope. It was the fork twirling around the plate from the movement of myself on the bed.

I've done that I once put my trench coat in my closet when I was coming home, and as I was taking off my makeup began to slowly look up from the sink and saw the trench coat hanging. which you'd expect to be an obvious normal thing, except I thought it was someone in my closet and I screamed and ran out of the room.

same thing happens to me except it's my closet. whenever i try and go to sleep i start to hear so many things and the thing that creeps me out is how my closet doors seem to always move in an imaginary breeze making a sound like someone walked into my room. i'm insomniac so thankfully i don't deal w/ it that often ^_^

Yea, we have a coat rack right next to our back door which leads downstairs. My mom put this ginormous (which is a word apparently) coat thingamajig (which is also apparently a word) on it. I turned around the corner to open up the back door and swore someone was standing at the top of the steps. I've never screamed so loud in my house.

[/quote] I think the only irony in those sorts of situations, which happen to me all the time because I think I see people in empty cars all the time, is that if that situation was actually happening I don't think I would be screaming. I'd probably just stand there wide-eyed staring for a few moments to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing.
