Do Buccs really have the highest 1v1 damage in game?

I've heard this before, but then again, others say no.

Who told you that? Corsairs are usually the ones who are said to have the highest 1v1 damage, though I wouldn't know.

Hero's FTW...MAX Brandish MAX EnRAGE MAX ADV COMBO..with apple and SE....Throw in GODLy Watt SHLD and GODLy Red Katana and maybe Stance so theres no Knock-Back...Best Melee in Game...Fastest Overall Ranged DMG (Corsairs>BM>NL)

Buccs have one of the lowest 1v1 DPM's in the game O_O.

I'm pretty sure they have low 1v1 DPM, but are good for bossing(?)

Buccs don't have the highest DPM in any realistic circumstance. o.o Highest 1 v 1 DPM are Corsairs. Highest mob DPM is (Arguably) Archmages/Bishops. xP

They're getting even better soon. Feel the rage?
